A bit about me

My husband and I are proud geeks. We own a game and comic store. We like to cosplay, attend Renaissance Faires and game with friends.

When the Galactic Starcruiser opened it was like our dream experience - 2 days of immersive discovery, the ability to dress up and play a part in the Star Wars Universe - a character that WE created. We started planning and dreaming.

During the planning process I had a realization. In over 20 years, essentially all of our travel revolved around business. We hadn't explored - we hadn't been on any adventures.

So, we made a real trip of it - we explored all of Walt Disney World, toured the Star Wars Universe, then snuck in a 4-day Carribean cruise (spoiler alert - it was a sneaky trade show infringing on our vacation!)

We had a blast.

When we returned, we started planning a return trip to Orlando (and the Starcruiser!) with friends. That trip turned into two trips.

And I realized I really enjoyed planning those trips, researching our options, building our itinerary. I can't travel ALL the time - but I can help others travel!

So Bound for Adventure was born. I am familiar with many popular destinations and will continue to research and learn new ones. I'm a travel planner, working as a subcontractor with Best Day Ever Vacations, and I'd love to help you plan your next adventure!
